Collection: CAST
CAST is a binding system created by the late freeskier brothers Ryan Hawks and Lars and Silas Chickering-Ayers. After Ryan's death, Lars and Cyrus completed their product and named the company "CAST", which stands for "Flock of Hawks", in Ryan's honor. Eventually, Cyrus won the Freeride World Tour, demonstrating the CAST philosophy.
CAST Freetour was developed with a simple concept: to improve access to the mountains while maintaining the ability to maximize skiing with a reliable and safe binding system.
With Lars and Silas still running the operation, CAST has grown into a full-capacity, home-grown binding manufacturer with the best prototyping, machining, and manufacturing capabilities. Located in Driggs, in the heart of the Teton Mountains, CAST continues to create the best products in a favorable environment where gear is developed and tested in the back mountains.
CAST Freetour is a revolutionary tour binding system modified from LOOK's Pivot 15 or 18. When hiking, attach the Tech Toe piece and use it in combination with the Pivot toe piece when skiing. From the 2024-25 season, it has been significantly updated as Freetour 2.0. Please see the product page for details.
Alpine Logic is an authorized distributor of CAST LLC.
