WURTH was founded in 1945 by Adolf Wurth in Künzelsau, Baden-Württemberg, southwestern Germany, as a screw manufacturer. The red WURTH logo represents the origins of the company, made up of two sets of screw heads. The company later expanded from its rural German village to neighboring European countries, and then to become a global general trading company.
Currently, Würth has 280 branches in Germany and over 400 group companies in a wide range of fields, handling approximately 100,000 items such as assembly, maintenance and repair products in the fields of automobiles, transportation, metals, electrical appliances, housing, construction and manufacturing in 86 countries around the world. With approximately 63,000 group employees and over 3 million customers worldwide, Würth has become a global leader in the automobile repair and maintenance market. Here in Japan, Würth Japan, a local subsidiary, was established in Kanagawa Ward, Yokohama City, Kanagawa Prefecture in 1987.
In the automotive industry, WURTH products are certified worldwide by DaimlerChrysler AG and BMW AG. In recent years, WURTH has been officially selected as a chemical supplier for Toyota in Japan. The high quality of WURTH products has also been recognized in the racing world, including F1 and rally racing, and they have been adopted by several teams.
At Alpine Logic, we not only stock WURTH tools, but also WURTH items that are not normally available to individual customers, with an eye toward supporting customers with construction materials, car travel issues for outdoor activities, and daily vehicle maintenance.
