- Comparison with the LANGE XT3 (up to 2025/26) -

Based on our experience testing the samples, these boots are an entirely different beast. The shell feels much closer to an alpine boot, which should lead to improved maneuverability. Despite the feeling of rigidity, the flex feels slightly softer than the numerical rating suggests. The newly developed CODE CUSTOM inner boot is also excellent, with improvements designed to provide an even better fit. This boot has the potential to become the benchmark for freeriders who prioritize downhill performance.

- Differences between LV (Low Volume) and MV (Medium Volume) -

The main difference is the last (width). The LV is 97mm, while the MV is 100mm. Unlike the traditional 4-buckle system, the BOA® Fit System in the CODE allows for better adjustment. Even if you have previously chosen wider sizes to avoid foot pain, we believe that unless you have exceptionally wide feet, you will achieve a better fit by adjusting the LV model.

- Regarding Size Selection -

If you have worn LANGE boots in the past and felt they were a bit large, we recommend going down one shell size. If the size is not quite right, Alpine Logic will accommodate size exchanges, provided we have stock available and the customer covers the actual round-trip shipping costs.
