Freetour 2.0 2nd Ski Kit Look Pivot Brake Set (2024)

The CAST Freetour 2.0 2nd Ski Kit Look Pivot Brake Set is a convenient, low-cost set for using the CAST Freetour 2.0 Pivot 15/18 on multiple skis.

By attaching this set to other boards in advance, you can use the CAST Freetour 2.0 Pivot 15/18 quickly and easily by simply tightening four screws.

The Look Pivot heel piece (or brake) is very difficult to remove and install, and even if the holes are drilled accurately, it requires considerable experience to install it accurately in the ski center. Also, this set is recommended if you have skis of different widths or if you don't want to damage the screw holes of your skis by repeatedly removing and installing them.

If you don't have a spare brake and need to remove and attach the heel piece each time

Pivot 15/18 heel piece (brake) 4 screws on each side x both boards = 8 screws required for installation and removal

Advantage: Low cost (cost of Look Pivot Brake)

Disadvantages: The replacement process is difficult, it is difficult to install at a ski center, and even if the screws are tightened with the correct torque, the screw holes in the skis will become damaged after several removals and installations, and eventually it will become impossible to install the heel piece.

If you have a spare brake

Pivot 15/18 heel piece front pressure adjustment rods (2 on each side) x both skis = 4 pieces

Advantages: The replacement process is quick and easy; once installed at the ski center, no further adjustment is required; and the screw holes in the skis are not damaged.

Disadvantages: Cost is slightly higher (cost of Look Pivot Brake)
